A project about the transformation of found matter into a relic. Construction debris becomes a source of form: fragments, traces of wear, and accidental joins are read as a ready-made structure - one that can be reassembled. At its core is a struggle with entropy: registering disintegration while attempting to hold the object in a state of significance. Spray gilding functions as an overt simulation of value, while the final act of appraisal is delegated to the viewer. Here, relic-ness is not secured by the material itself; it emerges through recognition, appropriation, and the viewer’s attribution of value.
